She had a great birthday too! She loves American Girl dolls so she decided she wanted to have an American Girl tea party with her friends. We had so much fun finding ideas online and planning the menu and activities together. We decorated and set the table with hot pink to look like the American Girl doll cafe. It turned out really cute!

The table setting and menu
Once all the girls had arrived, we started the tea party out with "Warm Welcome Cinnamon Buns" and a little box of question to pass around and ask each other, just like they do at the American Girl Cafe.
All the girls brought their dolls and they had their own tea party too
We served "Kit's Garden Party Sandwiches" and "Felicity's Patriotic Turkey Sandwiches" with "Kanani's fruit on a stick" and "Nellie's Carrot sticks."
For dessert, the girls were served "Molly's Flower Garden pots with chocolate mousse." They were delicious!
After lunch, the girls all made bracelets and headbands for their dolls

Then it was time for cupcakes and presents. Of course, Jayne was right there to help blow out the candles.
After cake, the girls all moved downstairs to watch the American Girl Doll movie, "Molly." It was such a fun party! Elle has such cute friends!
That night we went to Blue Lemon for dinner and then came back to our house for a little family party. Grandma and Grandpa Adamson came over to have cupcakes with us and Elle got to open her gifts.
This year, when we asked Elle what she wanted for her birthday she said a manicure or pedicure kit and money to go shopping. Really? Our
Easton got Elle a pedicure set with his own money. He loves his sister!
Gma and Gpa Adamson got her an Orbeez perfume kit and a journal and Gma Irene got her a caboodle.
Cute little Jayne was helping Elle open her presents when, all of the sudden, she got up and walked into the kitchen. She got out the markers and some paper and started coloring. I thought she just got bored and wanted to color. But after a few minutes, she hopped down from the stool and brought Elle her picture. She knew that people were giving Elle presents and she wanted to give her one too. It was so sweet!
We love you Elle! Happy Birthday!
My favorite things about Elle:

-She is great at the piano, even though she hates practicing.
-She is such a big help around the house.
